They say Wall Street is stressful, but it's not obvious from the ultra mellow suits-by-day crowd at this welcoming spot. Opened by a handful of financial consultants and the like, the slightly swank duplex space has a chill hip-hop and soul vibe in three separate lounges. These guys liket to shmooze, so get ready to meet and greet--even if you've never owned a suit and tie. Women may feel especially at home--these young, attractive gentleman smell nice, smile nice and buy drinks for their favorite gal--and all three of her friends. Girls win out with drink specials, too, such as $4 martinis on Tuesday nights.
If the front lounge feels too high-profile, escape to the all-white back room. A real breath of fresh air, it's actually an all-season tent that opens up in summer, with towering white booths and candles. Downstairs, sneak up on lounge number three, a navy nook for a lucky few. |
